Workshop on Effective Collaboration for international clients

“Joeke created an atmosphere which made it possible for participants from both The Netherlands and Germany to feel comfortable enough to openly discuss concerns, opportunities and challenges that lie ahead”

Willem van Nieuwkerk, director, Center for International Legal Cooperation (NL)

The cooperation with our German sister organisation IRZ spans almost two decades, but has recently gained new momentum. More than ever, we are aware that we can pool our resources to develop common solutions for our shared problems, as well as grow and improve by learning from each other. The management of both organisations decided to organize a series of common activities to remove national and cultural borders. In June 2014, we organised a first ever joint workshop which was moderated by Intend’s Joeke Abbing. Guided and inspired by Joeke we explored our vision for more effective collaboration and defined concrete steps for strengthening it further (even going as far as to develop a joint action plan for enhanced cooperation that has already started being implemented). Joeke created an atmosphere which made it possible for participants from both The Netherlands and Germany to feel comfortable enough to openly discuss concerns, opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. A new joint activity is already foreseen for later this year.
